Aquest curs hem pogut reprendre l’activitat d’apadrinament lector al nostre centre.
L’últim dilluns de cada mes ens reunim, en diferents espais de l’escola, els/les padrins/es lectors/es i els/les fillols/es. Els padrins/es són qui llegeixen llibres als fillols/es i aquests/es estan atents/es a les seves explicacions. És molt enriquidor poder compartir aquesta estona amb alumnat de diferents classes i edats!

The students of 1st and 2nd grade have got a new friend this school year. Its name is Sam and do you know what animal is it? It’s a squirrel.
Sam usually hides around the classroom and the students have to look for it. Then we greet him, speak in English, play games and it also helps us in the class activities. This week we have watched a story about him.
The first days of class we have observed him and draw a picture. It’s very difficult to draw a squirrel but we did it very well! Click on the photo of our class mascot to see our pictures.
During all this school year the students from 4th grade have been carrying out an E-twinning project with a portuguese school in Aveiras de Cima.
We started in November with a first contact where students wrote a letter about themselves explaining how they are, likes and dislikes… Then they sent us Christmas and Easter cards. We also exchanged the information about our Catalan traditions and costums. In the last term, we talked about our villages and schools. Finally, we shared our summer plans.
We have improved our skills and intercultural dimensions by using English as a means of communication with our penpals from Portugal.

The 31st of May was the last day of Stefanie, the language assistant in our school for 4th, 5th and 6th graders.
She has been with us since she arrived in October from the USA. She has helped us in the English classes, she has explained a lot about US culture and we have learned with her a lot of American vocabulary.
We wanted to say thanks to her by giving her some presents like a special notebook with her story in our school and her pictures.

L’últim dia de maig l’alumnat de 4t, 5è i 6è vam anar d’excursió a la partida de Rufea a Lleida, dins del marc del programa de la fruita a l’escola.
Vam realitzar una visita i diferents activitats per tal de fomentar el consum de fruita i hortalisses de temporada i de proximitat. També vam fer un tast de productes de proximitat i vam plantar enciams. Tot això ens va servir per conèixer millor tot el procés productiu ja que el pagès de l’explotació ens va fer de guia.
Va ser una sortida profitosa però també molt calorosa.
This year the 6th graders of our school have participated in the 9th English Day of Pla d’Urgell.
Like last year, they have enjoyed the different activities in our school and in some of them, we have interacted with another school like in the ones called “Guess the sentence” and “Karaoke”. They have also used English as a means of communication with other students as well as they have had a great time.

Els dies 21 i 22 d’abril l’alumnat de 3r, 4t, 5è i 6è vam poder anar finalment de colònies a Tamarit (Altafulla).
Va ser una experiència molt enriquidora ja que tot i la pluja, vam poder realitzar totes les activitats programades: jocs de descoberta de l’entorn, excursió a la platja, jocs de nit, discoteca, jocs esportius i manualitats.
El fet de poder jugar tots junts altre cop i no portar mascareta, encara va afavorir més la bona convivència entre tots.

Un any més, l’alumnat de Cicle Superior ha anat caminant fins a la Pineda del Salat.
Un cop allí, hem fet una escape room a l’aire lliure d’allò més interessant on hem hagut de desxifrar codis i hem après coses relacionades amb el nostre entorn. També hem jugat al joc del Passaparaula intentant endevinar una paraula per cada lletra de l’alfabet.
Hem dinat, hem menjat la mona que vam elaborar a l’escola i també hem tingut una bona estona per jugar en aquest entorn privilegiat.

Aquest matí ha estat molt esportiu per a l’alumnat de cinquè i sisè.
A primera hora hem anat a les instal·lacions del Crossfit Golmés on molt amablement ens han explicat en què consistia aquest esport, els racons que hi havia, el material i les màquines que s’utilitzaven. Ha estat molt divertit provar-ho tot!
Després hem anat a la pista de pumptrack de Golmés amb bicicletes i patinets. Ha estat una activitat ideal per acabar el matí!

L’alumnat de cinquè i sisè hem fet un taller per anar a la moda tot reciclant samarretes velles.
Primer hem visualitzat un tutorial per tal de saber quins eren els passos a seguir i a continuació, només utilitzant tisores i una mica de paciència, ens han sortit uns bolsos amb serrells molt originals.
