In the English classes we've worked on the importance of this celebration and we've made some crafts, which have been exhibited in the corridor so that everyone can see the different tasks carried out. Therefore, enriching each other from the different proposals. The days before we listened to the songs "Heal the World" by Michael Jackson, "Imagine" by John Lennon, "Blowing in the wind" by Bob Dylan, "We are the world" by Michael Jackson... With sixth graders, we worked on different characters such as "Martin Luther King Jr, Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, Gandhi, Dalai Lama, Rosa Parks, Jody Williams, Rigoberta Menchu", and we even used Wordwall (Wordwall is a tool to create interactive activities in an attractive way). The activities revolved around 7 people who won the Nobel Peace Prize and were the following: 1. Find the match: Tap the matching answer to eliminate it. Repeat until all answers are gone. 2. Match up: Drag and drop each keyword next to its definition. 3. Quiz: A series of multiple choice questions. Tap the correct answer to proceed. 4. Crossword: Use the clues to solve the crossword. Tap on a word and type the answer. 5. Gameshow quiz: A multiple choice quiz with time pressure, lifelines and a bonus round. At the end of each game, you can see your score. What excitement before starting!!! You can see more photos at the link the school gave you at the beginning of the course.
