English Day at Granullarius School!

On the 24th of February we celebrated the English Day. This year the primary topic has been the countries, taking into account that each class represents one. We gave the students a passport with a page from each country they studied. We played three games in which they won the different stickers for their passport: “Bamboozle” (cultural quiz), “It’s time for lunch” (students asked the chefs for some typical food from the countries they studied) and “take the flag” (in teams they had to answer some questions about the monuments, flags and food and run to take the correct flag). At the end of the day, pupils brought home a passport with all the stickers of food, monuments and flags that they won at the different activities.
In reference to infant education, the topic was the animals, bearing in mind each class also represents an animal. First, we listened to different songs related to our animals, so we could sing and dance a lot. Then, we played a memory game about animals and colors. It was very funny!

El dia 24 de febrer vam celebrar l’English Day. Aquest any el tema de primària ha estat els països, tenint en compte que cada classe en representa un. Vam donar als alumnes un passaport amb una pàgina de cada país que han estudiat. Vam jugar a tres jocs en els quals guanyaven les diferents enganxines pel seu passaport: “Bamboozle” (concurs de preguntes culturals), “It’s time for lunch” (els alumnes demanaven als xefs menjar típic dels països que han estudiat) i “take the flag” (en equips havien de contestar algunes preguntes sobre els monuments, banderes i menjar i córrer per agafar la bandera correcta. Al final del dia, tots els nens i nenes es van endur el seu passaport omplert amb totes les enganxines de menjar, monuments i banderes que havien anat guanyant a les diverses activitats.
En referència a educació infantil, el tema va ser els animals, tenint present que cada classe també en representa un. Primer, vam escoltar diferents cançons relacionades amb els nostres animals i vam cantar i ballar molt. Després, vam jugar a un joc de memòria sobre els animals i els colors. Va ser molt divertit!
