A finals del curs 2020-21, el nostre centre va començar a formar part del programa d’innovació pedagògica Generació Plurilingüe (GEP). La finalitat d’aquest programa és millorar la competència en llengües estrangeres de l’alumnat, afavorint el seu creixement acadèmic i posterior inserció laboral, i capacitant-lo per interactuar amb el món en diverses llengües i de manera crítica.

3r- CLIL

L’alumnat de Tercer ha treballat durant aquest curs, en modalitat de Tallers, la unitat temàtica “PAST AND PRESENT”, emmarcada en el CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Language) AICLE en català (Aprenentatge Integrat de Continguts i Llengua estrangera).

Han tocat diferents aspectes del pas del temps, en referència a les persones com ara els avis i les àvies, en referència a la pròpia persona, a objectes antics i el corresponent actual i els mitjans de transport.

4t- CLIL

Emmarcat en el CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) o el que és el mateix, AICLE (Aprenentatge Integrat de Continguts i Llengua Estrangera), l’alumnat de Quart ha treballat dues Unitats didàctiques, en llengua anglesa, durant el curs, de Medi Natural. La primera sobre “Food and nutrition” i la segona, sobre “Meteorology”.

I5- Run, run, run story

The giraffe is eating leaves from a tall tree. Munch, munch, munch. But look… the lion is coming!!!

Do you want to know what happens in the story? I5 kids show you in the next mini videos. We had great fun during the performances! 3, 2, 1… ACTION!

During the 2nd term I5 kids have been working through the story “Run, run, run”, a tale about animals. Children have learnt new vocabulary related to animals and some short structures. Moreover, pupils have created an animal mask in order to represent the story in small groups.

Formació GEP

El passat 30 de maig, tres mestres de l’escola van assistir a la darrera sessió de la formació GEP (Generació Plurilingüe), un programa d’innovació pedagògica. Aquest cop la trobada va ser presencial a l’Escola Oficial d’Idiomes de Mataró on tot el professorat implicat va poder compartir les seves pròpies experiències.

La finalitat del programa GEP és millorar la competència en llengües estrangeres de l’alumnat, afavorint el seu creixement acadèmic i posterior inserció laboral, i capacitant-lo per interactuar amb el món en diverses llengües i de manera crítica.

Les accions del programa GEP s’orienten, d’una banda, a incrementar el temps d’exposició de l’alumnat a les llengües estrangeres curriculars i, d’una altra, a acompanyar els centres educatius en el procés de desplegament i consolidació d’un projecte lingüístic plurilingüe propi.

 

4t- English around us

Les noies i els nois de Quart han estat fent una activitat dins de l’àrea de Llengua anglesa, amb la qual han hagut de cercar a casa, productes d’ús habitual etiquetats en aquesta llengua.

Prèviament, han estat fent recerca a Internet, amb els portàtils, a l’aula.

L’objectiu primordial d’aquesta tasca és ser conscient que l’anglès ens envolta constantment i molts cops no ens n’adonem.

L’activitat s’anomena “English around us” (“L’anglès ens envolta”).

Ha estat un treball en petit grup, s’han distribuït la tasca i han hagut “d’investigar” què significa cada etiqueta trobada i intentar deduir el perquè el fabricant li ha posat aquest nom i no un altre.

Us mostrem els murals que han realitzat i que han exposat a la resta de companyes i companys.

I5- The magic elf

I5 students have finished the “Magic elf” unit by singing the magic elf song and acting out the story. Through the story, kids have learned new vocabulary related to toys (bike, ball, car, robot, car), short structures (Can I have a…, please?, Here you are!), different actions (jump, turn around, close your eyes) and the “Magic elf” song.

Pupils have also worked in small groups in order to represent a short dialogue from the story.

7 wonders of the world

Do you know what the 7 wonders of the world are?

We, 5th graders, have been learning about all of them during the first term. About  the countries they are located in, their flags, their capitals, the timeline and so on. Find them below:

  • The Colosseum, Rome, Italy
  • The Great Wall of China.
  • The Taj Mahal, India
  • Christ the Redeemer, Brazil.
  • Machu Picchu, Peru.
  • Chichén Itzá, Mexico
  • Petra, Jordan.
