El passat dijous els/les alumnes de 3r curs de primària van rebre la visita de la Sarah Kramer, una au pair americana de Califòrnia que ha estat vivint tres mesos a casa d’una mestra de l’escola. Abans de marxar a Anglaterra ha aprofitat la seva última setmana al nostre país per poder-nos visitar i explicar moltes coses interessants sobre els Estats Units. Ens va parlar dels diferents tipus de paisatge, el clima, els animals, les plantes, les tradicions, el menjar i el beure, la cultura, la música, les activitats lúdiques i els esports típics dels Estats Units. Va ser una activitat molt interessant doncs els nens també van preguntar-li allò que els interessava saber d’ella i vam descobrir que també és una gran artista.
Li estem molt agraïts per la seva visita i li desitgem molta sort en terres anglòfones.

Last Thursday Sarah Kramer, an American au pair from California who has been living with one of our teacher’s for three months, visited children in Year 3 of Primary Education. Before going to England she came to our school to tell us lots of interesting things about The USA. She talked about the different biomes, the climate, the animals, the plants, the traditions, the food and drinks, the culture, the music, the activities and the typical sports in the United States of America. It was a very interesting activity because our pupils also asked her lots of questions and we found out that she lives in the Mohave desert and that is a great artist too.
We are very grateful to her for the visit and we wish her the best of luck in the UK.
