ENGLISH DAY

On March 17, we went to Castellolí school “Les Passeres” to celebrate The English Day that was about a very famous party in Ireland called St. Patrik’s day.

When we arrived there the English teachers made a small introduction of the day. Later we sang a song called ” The little leprechaun ́ ́ in the physical education class. A leprechaun is a small person who dressed in green and he loves money. For this reason he hides a pot of gold at the end of the Rainbow. After singing we had breakfast and we had fun. Then we did some traps to catch the leprechaun. Once we had all the traps done, we learnt things about Ireland culture and we saw the typical Irish dances. Finally we had lunch and then we presented our traps in front of our mates. Then we went to la Brillante and we danced Irish dances. To finish we said goodbye and we went to the bus and we went back to Maians.

We spent a wonderful day full of activities and we had fun with our friends!

ENGLISH DAY!!

El dia 13 de març tota la ZER farem una trobada a Castellolí per celebrar l’English day. Aquest any el tema escollit és: Sant Patrick’s day, la festa Irlandes més gran i coneguda.

Durant aquest dia cantarem, ballarem i farem activitats relacionades amb la festa Irlandesa. Els alumnes de tota la ZER cantaran la cançó I’m a little leprechaun. Després ens dividirem en grups i farem tallers relacionats amb la cultura Irlandesa.

A la tarda anirem a la “Brillante” i ballarem danses irlandeses. Els alumnes de cicle superior ballaran la dansa Shamrock beat i els alumnes de cicle mitjà ballaran una dansa tradicional Irlandesa. Els alumnes de cicle inicial i infantil ballaran una altra dansa Irlandesa.

Aquest serà el nostre quart English day, esperem que tothom s’ho passi d’allò més bé!!!

ENGLISH DAY

We did the 3rd English day. We went to Castellolí to celebrate the English day. This year the English day is about the Lion King Musical.
In the morning we did activities related to the Lion King. Then we had breakfast and played with our friends. When we finished, students older than 3rd and 4rt grades went to the theatre and we rehearsal the musical.

3rd grade and 4rt grade, did a theatre and sang the song “Hakuna Matata”. Students in 5th grade and 6th grade did a theatre and sang the song “The circle of the life”.

In the aftrenoon, Maians school and Coll de Gossem school went back to their schools.

We are very happy.
