Our 1st ESO students took part in an exciting Scottish dance workshop in the school gym, led once again by Tom, a real Scot, who has visited our school before. His sessions have become something our students really look forward to!
During the workshop, students explored Scottish folklore, focusing mainly on traditional dances. They practiced group dances filled with lively steps, claps, and teamwork, all while having great fun. Tom also introduced them to Scottish music, and the powerful sound of the bagpipes created an authentic atmosphere. Students learned about traditional clothing too, especially the kilt, and its importance in Scottish culture.
It was a fantastic mix of culture, music, history, and movement and a wonderful way to experience Scotland without leaving the gym!
