English news 1: Environmental initiatives

Our high school is a Green school, we do activities like collecting old mobile phones, supporting the Foundation Jean Goodall to protect the African ecosystem.

With the mobile phones collected last year, we endorsed Anzac the chimpanzee.

This year, every time we collect 30 mobile phones we raffle a technological object.

We collect plastic tops every Tuesday to collaborate in initiatives that help children with serious problems.

Now we are helping Martina. Every Tuesday we wait the plastic tops, and when we finish the trimester, the class that give the most wins an award.

Another iniciative is that the Ambiental Committee will evaluate the cleaning, the order and the energy saving in every class.

The most sustainable class will also have an award, too.
