English News 23 – Volunteers of 3rd ESO at the great food bank collection

Students of third ESO from the secondary school Joan Solà in Torrefarrera participated as volunteers in the big food collect, days 25 and 26 of November. All the participating students were organized through a quadrant previously created according to availability of each,  to get some turns in some establishments in Alguaire and Torrefarrera. Thanks to their cooperation together with other volunteers of the town, it has been possible to accumulate a big quantity of food given by anonymous people who came to the collection point and put it in the bags provided by the volunteers at the entrance of the establishments. Finally at the closure of the two days, all the food boxes were collected and transported to food bank in Lleida.
