La Comissió Erasmus+ de l’Institut Dertosa es suma al Tortosa Irish English Festival amb una col·laboració destacada en tres activitats culturals que es duran a terme pròximament, unint esforços per promoure l’educació i la cultura internacional.
El dimecres 13 de març, a les 19.30 h, el saló d’actes de l’Institut Dertosa acollirà la presentació dels projectes Erasmus+ que es desenvolupen al centre. En aquest esdeveniment hi participaran professors, alumnes i famílies implicades, amb l’objectiu de donar a conèixer i compartir les experiències enriquidores dels projectes europeus que impulsen l’intercanvi cultural i educatiu.
El dissabte 16 de març, a les 10.00 h, el bar Mocafè serà l’escenari de la presentació de la novel·la en anglès The Tale of Two Lives, escrita per l’autor Emigdi Subirats. Aquest esdeveniment oferirà l’oportunitat de conèixer de prop l’obra d’aquest escriptor local, professor del centre, i fomentar la literatura en llengua anglesa entre els assistents.
Finalment, el diumenge 17 de març, a les 10.00 h, es realitzarà la Ruta literària Sweet Rumble of Water in Memory (traducció del vers de Gerard Vergés, Dolça remor de l’aigua en el record). Aquesta ruta, dissenyada pel professor Emigdi Subirats, homenatja autors anglosaxons amb alguna connexió amb Tortosa, com Ernest Hemingway, Martin Luther King o les germanes Brontë. A través de sis punts emblemàtics del parc municipal Teodor González, els participants descobriran les relacions literàries entre Tortosa i aquests grans noms de la literatura universal.
Amb aquestes activitats, la Comissió Erasmus+ reafirma el seu compromís amb l’intercanvi cultural, la innovació educativa i la promoció de la literatura i el coneixement internacional. Us animem a participar i gaudir d’aquestes propostes tan especials.

On Wednesday, March 13, at 7:30 PM, the auditorium of the Institut Dertosa will host the presentation of all Erasmus+ projects currently being carried out at the school. The event will feature the participation of teachers, students, and families involved, aiming to showcase and share the enriching experiences of these European projects that promote cultural and educational exchange.
On Saturday, March 16, at 10:00 AM, the Mocafè bar will be the venue for the presentation of the English novel The Tale of Two Lives by local author Emigdi Subirats. This event provides an opportunity to discover the work of this talented writer, deeply rooted in the region, and encourages literature enthusiasts to engage with the English language.
Finally, on Sunday, March 17, at 10:00 AM, the Literary Route Sweet Rumble of Water in Memory (translated from Gerard Vergés’ verse Dolça remor de l’aigua en el record) will take place. Designed by Professor Emigdi Subirats, this route pays tribute to English-speaking authors connected in some way to Tortosa, such as Ernest Hemingway, Martin Luther King, or the Brontë sisters. Through six key spots in the Teodor González Municipal Park, participants will explore the literary connections between these influential figures and the city.
