Today, 26th September, we celebrated the European Day of Languages with a special activity as part of an eTwinning project. Sixteen countries participated in this project (Finland, France, Catalonia, Italy, Romania, Portugal, England, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Greece, Northern Ireland, Norway, Germany, among others), and each school exchanged postcards in different languages.
In addition, the volunteer students of 2nd ESO accepted the challenge of going out to buy a postcard and a stamp to send their message to a European country, celebrating the European Day of Languages in a real and meaningful way.
The postcards will be sent to our European partners, and when we receive theirs, we will display them on our eTwinning Corner mural so that the entire school community can enjoy them in different languages. “LANGUAGES OPEN HEARTS AND MINDS”. HAPPY EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES!
