Dimarts 9 de desembre, a les 13.30 h, a la biblioteca del centre, celebrarem el Dia dels Autors Europeus, una cita anual dedicada a reconèixer la contribució de les figures literàries més rellevants del continent. Enguany, l’homenatge se centrarà en Jane Austen, amb motiu del 250è aniversari del seu naixement.
Durant l’acte, els alumnes de 1r de batxillerat de les assignatures de llengua alemanya i creació literària participaran en la lectura de fragments de les obres més emblemàtiques de l’autora, com Orgull i Prejudici i Sentit i Sensibilitat, permetent als assistents descobrir o redescobrir l’univers literari d’Austen.
A més, l’acte inclourà la interpretació d’una cançó de la cantant neozelandès Holly Cristina, dedicada a Jane Austen, a càrrec de Júlia Redó, que afegirà un toc musical i emotiu a l’homenatge. Aquesta celebració combina lectura, música i reflexió sobre la importància de la literatura europea i el llegat de les grans autores.

On Tuesday, December 9, at 13:30 p.m., in the school library, we will celebrate European Authors Day, an annual event dedicated to recognizing the contributions of Europe’s most significant literary figures. This year, the tribute will focus on Jane Austen, on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of her birth.
During the event, 1st-year Baccalaureate students from German language and literary creation classes will participate by reading excerpts from Austen’s most iconic works, such as Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility, allowing the audience to discover—or rediscover—the literary world of Austen.
Additionally, the celebration will include a performance of a song by New Zealand singer Holly Cristina, dedicated to Jane Austen, performed by Júlia Redó, adding a musical and emotional touch to the tribute. This event combines reading, music, and reflection on the importance of European literature and the legacy of great female authors.
