Young Voices for Europe: primera trobada online entre l’Institut Dertosa i el 1st Junior High School of Skala Oropos (Grècia).
Aquest mes, l’alumnat de 2n d’ESO C de l’Institut Dertosa ha participat en la primera trobada online del projecte eTwinning “Young Voices for Europe” amb els seus companys i companyes del 1st Junior High School of Skala Oropos, Grècia.
En aquesta trobada hi han participat els alumnes i la professora Evaggelia Vlachou, del 1st Junior High School of Skala Oropos, Grècia, i els alumnes i la professora Mariona Estrada Arasa, de l’Institut Dertosa (Tortosa). Durant la sessió, els estudiants van tenir l’oportunitat de presentar-se, intercanviar idees i conèixer millor els seus socis europeus, amb qui col·laboraran al llarg del curs en activitats relacionades amb la ciutadania global i digital.
El projecte Young Voices for Europe té com a objectiu millorar les competències en llengua anglesa de l’alumnat i fomentar la consciència sobre els valors europeus i la ciutadania activa. Està adreçat a estudiants de 13 i 14 anys que treballaran conjuntament amb companys d’altres països europeus mitjançant eines digitals i tasques creatives. Els altres centres participants són de Grècia, Polònia, Romania i Turquia.
Al llarg del projecte, els estudiants compartiran la seva visió d’Europa, exploraran valors fonamentals com la democràcia, la tolerància, la llibertat i la solidaritat, i elaboraran materials digitals col·laboratius com pòsters, presentacions i un e-book final titulat “Young Citizens’ Charter”.

Young Voices for Europe: First Online Meeting Between Institut Dertosa and 1st Junior High School of Skala Oropos (Greece)
This month, students from 2nd ESO C at Institut Dertosa took part in the first online meeting of the eTwinning project “Young Voices for Europe” with their partners from the 1st Junior High School of Skala Oropos, Greece.
Participants in this meeting included the students and teacher Evaggelia Vlachou from the 1st Junior High School of Skala Oropos, Greece and the students and teacher Mariona Estrada Arasa from Institut Dertosa (Tortosa).
During the session, students had the chance to introduce themselves, exchange ideas, and get to know their European partners, with whom they will collaborate throughout the school year on activities related to global and digital citizenship.
The Young Voices for Europe project aims to improve students’ English language skills while fostering awareness of European values and active citizenship. It involves 13–14-year-old students who will collaborate with peers from different countries using digital tools and creative tasks. The other participating schools are from Greece, Poland, Romania, and Türkiye.
Throughout the project, students will share their vision of Europe, explore key European values such as democracy, tolerance, freedom, and solidarity, and create digital posters, interactive presentations, and a final e-book entitled “Young Citizens’ Charter”.
This initiative enhances students’ linguistic, civic, social, and digital competences, while promoting an open, participatory, and inclusive European education.
