This week we celebrated Pancake Day or Shrove Tuesday with our ESO students. We read a text about the traditions, where it is celebrated and what they do to celebrate this day. (Shrove Tuesday is the last Tuesday before Lent starts and they used to eat pancakes because it was a good way to empty their pantry because during Lent they were not supposed to eat rich food.)
Then we watched a recipe of how to prepare oancakes and finally we went to the kitchen and we cooked our own pancakes.
They were delicious!
