Inter-school experience (Abat Marcet and Torre del Palau)

We are delighted to share a wonderful inter-school experience that took place between the students of 1st year of ESO at our school, INS Torre del Palau, and the 6th graders from Abat Marcet, a primary school in our city.

During this particular visit, our older learners prepared a series of engaging games focused on Great Britain for the younger students. The aim was to create a fun and interactive learning environment where the primary students could explore various aspects of British culture. Each game presented a unique challenge, and as the younger students completed them, they earned clues that would ultimately unlock a BREAKOUT Edu box filled with surprises.

In return, the 6th graders from Abat Marcet had prepared some holistic relaxation techniques for our INS Torre del Palau students. These techniques were designed to help our secondary school students manage stress related to exams, homework, or their daily lives. The primary school students shared their knowledge and skills in relaxation, fostering a supportive and caring environment within our school community.

These types of activities not only promote cross-grade interaction but also strengthen the bond between primary and secondary schools. Collaborative efforts between educators are essential in addressing the diverse needs of our learners. By working together, we can provide a more comprehensive and enriching educational experience.

INS Torre del Palau would like to express our

heartfelt gratitude to the Abat Marcet Primary School staff, particularly Irma Martín, for their warm welcome and for making these interactions possible. The dedication and commitment of the educators involved in organizing this event are highly appreciated, as they contribute to the holistic development and well-being of our students.

We look forward to further collaboration and shared learning experiences in the future, as we continue to foster connections and create meaningful educational opportunities for all our students.

Thank you again to Abat Marcet Primary School for their collaboration and support.
