This year we have a new member at our school: Kahina Abbott. One of our main objectives is to improve the learning of languages, to promote the plurilingualism and the knowledge of other cultures. For this reason, this course we participate in a program of language assistants created by MECD (Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte). As a native, Kahina will encourage our students not just to learn English but also to know other ways of life and other traditions.
“Four high school students welcomed Kahina. We showed her around the school and talked to her in English. She will help us practice our pronunciation in English and improve our speaking skills. We are really looking forward to it!”
Aquest any el nostre centre compta amb un nou membre: la Kahina Abbott. El projecte educatiu de l’Institut Polinyà contempla com un dels seus principals objectius la millora de l’aprenentatge de les llengües, el foment del plurilingüisme i el coneixement d’altres cultures. És per aquest motiu que aquest curs participem en el programa d’auxiliars de conversa impulsat pel MECD (Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte). Com a parlant nativa, la Kahina no només estimularà l’aprenentatge de l’anglès entre els nostres alumnes, sinó que també els permetrà aprendre altres maneres de viure, altres costums i altres formes d’entendre el món.
