Plastic Composition

This year, the students of the Arts and Craft elective course have been working the Plastic Composition with the topic of landscape and have applied techniques that Cubists and Surrealists discovered, such as collage, rubbing and drawing.

Afterwards they had to talk about why and their artistic intentions and the results have been these.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

ENJOY AND RESPECT

The objective of the course will be to use sports as a vehicle to introduce or reinforce a new language to the students while emphasizing team sport values.

During the course, students will practice popular sports, with the objective to develop values like cooperation, RESPECT, FAIR PLAY and teamwork and using the English as the main communication language.

The English language will be practiced using different approaches:

Oral communication using sport and day to day vocabulary.
Written communication using exercises.
Reading task.
Listening communication using videos.

PRESENTACIÓ DEL PROJECTE GEP

El curs 2017-2018 el Departament d’Ensenyament inicia el programa d’innovació pedagògica Generació Plurilingüe (GEP).

La finalitat d’aquest programa és millorar la competència en llengües estrangeres de l’alumnat, afavorint entorns plurilingües que contribueixin al seu creixement acadèmic i posterior inserció laboral, tot capacitant-lo per interactuar amb el món en diverses llengües i de manera crítica.

Les primeres actuacions del programa GEP a l’Institut Polinyà s’orienten a incrementar el temps d’exposició de l’alumnat a la llengua anglesa mitjançant la metodologia AICLE (aprenentatge integrat de contingut i llengua estrangera) en el marc d’una oferta d’optatives en anglès que s’imparteixen en els quatre cursos d’ESO.
