Després d’una setmana molt intensa i plena d’activitats relacionades amb la sensibilització del medi ambient ha arribat l’hora d’acomiadar-nos dels nostres amics. Han estat set dies de convivència amb els nostres companys italians, però ja fa un any que ens endinsem en un projecte per reduir la nostra petjada ecològica, sota el nom de: “One Team, One Dream”.
Venint d’un país on la gastronomia és un dels seus plats forts, els nostres amics italians no podien marxar sense fer un taller de panellets. En aquesta activitat, els alumnes s’han posat en el rol de cuiners i han fet uns panellets boníssims, un autèntic “piacere”. A continuació, hem anat a la platja de Premià de Mar per fer la sessió de ‘beach clean up’. El propòsit era conscienciar als alumnes i reivindicar la importància de conservar el medi ambient amb una recollida de brossa de la platja, així com trobar una manera original de reutilitzar les deixalles. Aprofitem per felicitar gratament a tot el grup, perquè va fer una recollida exhaustiva i van deixar la platja molt neta i polida.
A la tarda ens vam retrobar al hall de l’institut per acomiadar-nos dels nostres amics. Els pares dels nostres alumnes van ser els encarregats d’organitzar un esplèndid sopar on vam gaudir molt dels diferents plats que van elaborar. Tutto buonissimo!
Finalment, va arribar l’hora dels adeus amb llàgrimes als ulls en la majoria del jovent i també d’algun pare i mare que nostàlgics s’acomiadaven d’una setmana que perduraria en les ments i els cors dels seus fills per sempre. Però quedem-nos amb la part positiva, des d’avui i per a tota la vida tenim nous amics a Lavarone. Grazie di cuore!

After a very intense week full of activities related to environmental awareness, the time has come to say goodbye to our friends. It’s been seven days of living and sharing experiences with our Italian partners, but we’ve actually been involved in a project to reduce our ecological footprint for a whole year now, under the name: “One Team, One Dream.”
Coming from a country where gastronomy is one of their strong points, our Italian friends couldn’t leave without taking part in a “panellets” workshop. In this activity, the students took on the role of chefs and made some delicious panellets—a true piacere! Afterwards, we went to Premià de Mar beach for a beach clean-up session. The goal was to raise students’ awareness and highlight the importance of protecting the environment through litter collection, as well as to find creative ways to reuse the waste. We take this opportunity to warmly congratulate the entire group, as they carried out a thorough clean-up and left the beach very clean and tidy.
In the afternoon, we met again in the school hall to say goodbye to our friends. The parents of our students organized a wonderful dinner, where we thoroughly enjoyed the wide variety of dishes they prepared. Tutto buonissimo!
Finally, the time came for the farewells—tears in the eyes of most of the young people, and even some parents, who said goodbye with nostalgia to a week that will live on in their children’s minds and hearts forever. But let’s focus on the positive: from today and for life, we now have new friends in Lavarone. Grazie di cuore!
