Comença l’aventura a Portugal!

Amb ulls mig oberts però amb moltes ganes d’aventura, ens hem trobat aquest matí ben d’hora —a les 5:15!— a l’aeroport. Tot i això, els somriures i l’emoció omplien l’ambient. Hem agafat el vol cap a Porto, on ens esperava el següent pas del viatge: la connexió en bus cap a Guarda.

Allà, hem aprofitat per descansar, esmorzar i compartir estones de convivència mentre esperàvem l’arribada del nostre autobús. I cal dir-ho ben clar: l’alumnat s’ha portat de deu! Amb molta paciència, respecte i bon saber estar, han fet fàcil un dia llarg i intens.

Després de tres hores de viatge baixant per diferents indrets portuguesos, hem arribat a Guarda, on les famílies d’acollida ens esperaven amb els braços oberts. L’emoció de la trobada i l’acollida càlida han posat el punt final perfecte a aquesta primera jornada.

Ha estat un dia llarg, sí… però ha valgut molt la pena. I això només és el principi! La setmana promet estar plena d’experiències inoblidables així que estigueu atents!

¡La aventura comienza en Portugal!

Con los ojos medio abiertos pero ansiosos por la aventura, nos hemos encontrado temprano esta mañana, ¡a las 5: 15!- en el aeropuerto. Sonrisas y emoción llenaban el ambiente. Hemos cogido el vuelo hasta Oporto, donde nos esperaba el siguiente paso del viaje: la conexión en autobús hasta Guarda.

Allí hemos aprovechado para descansar, desayunar y compartir momentos de convivencia mientras esperábamos la llegada de nuestro autobús. Seamos claros: ¡el comportamiento de todos ellos ha sido excelente! Con mucha paciencia, respeto y buen saber estar, han hecho fácil un día largo e intenso.

Después de tres horas de recorrer diferentes lugares portugueses, hemos llegado a Guarda, donde las familias anfitrionas nos esperaban con los brazos abiertos. La emoción del encuentro y la cálida acogida han coronado este primer día. Seguid atentos!

The adventure begins in Portugal!

With eyes half open but eager for adventure, we met early this morning at 5:15h at the airport. Smiles and excitement filled the atmosphere. We took the flight to Porto, where we were waiting for the next step of the trip: the bus connection to Guarda.

There, we took the opportunity to rest, have breakfast and share moments of coexistence while waiting for the arrival of our bus. Let’s be clear: the students have been wonderful! With a lot of patience, respect and good attitude, they have made a long and intense day easy.

After three hours of traveling down through different Portuguese places, we arrived at Guarda, where the host families were waiting for us with open arms. The excitement of the meeting and the warm reception have put the perfect end to this first day.

It was a long day, yes, but it was worth it. And that’s just the beginning! The week promises to be full of unforgettable experiences so stay tuned!
