On 16th November, 2016 in the morning, students of 3rd and 4th level watched a videoconference in one of the classes. It was a conference of a woman, called María José Aranzana under the name “Genetic is what you eat”. We saw the videoconference for an hour. In the videoconference, we could see the woman explaining how the process of improving plant varieties works and how the scientists help to get new varieties. Also, she explained her studies. For example, she explained where she studied, the duration of her studies, the degree of difficulty and so on. All in all, it was an interesting videoconference and students learnt things that we did not know.
