During the week prior to the Easter break, our school once again celebrated the English Week, an event that has now become a well-established tradition.
This year’s theme focused on travelling around English-speaking countries. Throughout the week, students had the opportunity to “visit” countries such as the USA, Australia, Ireland, Nez Zealand and the United Kingdom by taking part in a wide range of engaging activities related to each destination. Among others, they discovered and practised the Haka dance from New Zealand and learned how to draw typical Australian animals.
As in previous years, the Cicle Superior students visited Castellum School on Thursday to celebrate English Day together. The went there by bike, and during their visit, they enjoyed a traditional English breakfast and participated in a variety of interactive, language-based activities, including games such as “speed dating” and “the shooter”, which encouraged communication and collaboration among students.
Overall, the experience was highly enriching and dynamic, further promoting the use of English in meaningful and enjoyable contexts. We look forward to continuing this initiative in the coming years.
