El programa ERASMUS (acrònim derivat del nom oficial en anglès: European Region Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students, és a dir: “Pla Regional d’Acció Europea per a la Mobilitat d’Estudiants, Regió Europa”, conegut popularment com a la beca Erasmus o, simplement, l’Erasmus) va ser instaurat per la Comissió Europea l’any 1987 per tal de promoure l’intercanvi d’estudiants dins de la Unió Europea.

L’objectiu del programa ERASMUS és fomentar la mobilitat acadèmica tant de professors com d’estudiants, així com la cooperació, la qualitat, la inclusió i l’equitat, l’excel·lència, la creativitat i la innovació a través de l’aprenentatge permanent, el desenvolupament educatiu, professional i personal en els àmbits de l’educació i la formació, la joventut i l’esport.

Amb aquest programa es pretén contribuir  al creixement sostenible, a l’ocupació de qualitat i a la cohesió social, a més d’impulsar la innovació i enfortir la identitat europea, la ciutadania activa i la participació a la vida democràtica.

 

La nostra escola vol començar el camí cap a la internacionalització i per això aquest curs s’ha creat la Comissió Erasmus+ que s’encarrega de redactar el projecte STEM activities to change the environment per aconseguir una beca de cara al curs 2023-2024. Aquesta iniciativa ens permetrà obrir l’escola a l’exterior; aprendre noves maneres de treballar i veure’n la seva implementació, i donar l’oportunitat als i les alumnes de treballar conjuntament amb d’altres països i viatjar-hi.

 

Erasmus program (stands for European Region Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students) was launched in 1987 by the European Commission to promote exchange of students among European Union countries.

The goal of this program is to foster the academic mobility of both teachers and students; as well as cooperation; inclusion and equity; excellence; creativity and innovation through lifelong learning. There are also other aims, such as educational, professional, and personal development in the areas of education and training, youth, and sport.

 

This project is thought to contribute to sustainable growth, quality employment, and social cohesion, as well as to foster innovation and strengthen European identity, active citizenship, and participation in democratic life.

 

 

Our school wants to start internationalization, so this course year the Erasmus+ Commission has been created. It is responsible for writing the project STEM activities to change the environment – STEM us! to achieve a scholarship for the next course year. This initiative will allow us to open the school; learn new ways to teach and see their implementation, and allow us to cooperate with other countries and travel there.

Lliurament del projecte Erasmus+ per impulsar la internacionalització de l’Escola Ventura Gassol a l’espera de la resolució del concurs

Aquest 23 de febrer, l’Escola Ventura Gassol ha presentat un projecte Erasmus+ sota el nom STEM activities to change the environment – STEM us! Encara no hi ha data per a la publicació de la llista de centre becats, però s’espera que surti cap al mes de maig.

El projecte està encarat a iniciar un canvi metodològic donant importància a la integració de les àrees STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) impulsant la integració dels alumnes amb menys oportunitats a través d’aquest tipus de metodologia. El pensament crític, i l’anàlisi i millora del propi entorn tenint en compte els ODS és l’altre gran vector d’aquest projecte.

Finalment, aquesta beca atorgada per la Unió Europea permetrà iniciar la internacionalització de l’escola per formar alumnes globals.

  

Handed the Erasmus+ Project to Foster the internationalization of Ventura Gassol School while waiting for the contest resolution

On the 23rd of February, Ventura Gassol School presents an Erasmus+ project called STEM activities to change the environment – STEM us! There is still no date for publishing the list with the scholarship schools, but it is expected to be published throughout March.

Our project focuses on starting a methodological change that prioritizes the integration of the STEM areas (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) while fostering the inclusion of students with fewer opportunities throughout this kind of methodology. On the other hand, critical thinking through the analysis and the improvement of our environment considering SDGs are also other vectors of this project.

Finally, this scholarship granted by the European Union will allow us to start the internationalization of our school to teach global students.

L’escola Ventura Gassol del Morell rep una beca Erasmus+ per impulsar un canvi metodològic al centre

Aquest mes de juliol, s’ha fet públic que l’escola del Morell rebrà una beca Erasmus+ per al projecte presentat sota el nom STEM activities to change the environment – STEM us! Entre un total de 299 escoles que rebran la beca l’escola Ventura Gassol n’ocupa el lloc 157. La beca repartirà un total de gairebé 6,7 milions d’euros entre les escoles seleccionades.

El projecte consta de 5 mobilitats. Dues d’aquestes estan planificades pels alumnes de 6è seleccionats sota els criteris de baremació establerts en el propi projecte. Aquestes dues mobilitats estan incloses en el desenvolupament de les situacions d’aprenentatge dissenyades també en el projecte presentat i que realitzaran tot l’alumnat de 6è nivell.

Les altres 3 mobilitats estan encarades a la formació del professorat a partir de l’observació i l’assessorament per part de centres europeus que ja tenen experiència en aquest camp.

Durant els propers 18 mesos, el centre iniciarà un canvi metodològic basat en la integració de les àrees STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) i impulsant la integració dels alumnes amb menys oportunitats a través d’aquest tipus de metodologia. El pensament crític i l’anàlisi i millora del propi entorn tenint en compte els ODS és l’altre gran vector d’aquest projecte. Finalment, aquesta beca atorgada per la Unió Europea permetrà iniciar la internacionalització de l’escola per formar alumnes globals.

 

Ventura Gassol School from El Morell gets an Erasmus+ scholarship to promote a methodological change

Last July, it was announced that our school will receive an Erasmus+ scholarship for their project called STEM Activities to Change the Environment – STEM Us! Among 299 schools that will receive the scholarship, Ventura Gassol School ranks 157. The scholarship will distribute almost 6.7 million Euros among the chosen centers.
The project includes five mobilities. Two of these are thought by the 6th-grade students selected under the grading criteria established in this project itself. These mobilities belong to learning experiences designed and included in the presented project. These learning experiences are going to be carried out by all 6th-level students.
The other three movilities aim to train teachers through observation and advice from experienced European schools in this field. 
For the next 18 months, this school will start a methodological change that prioritizes the integration of the STEM areas (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) while fostering the inclusion of students with fewer opportunities throughout this kind of methodology. On the other hand, critical thinking through the analysis and the improvement of our environment considering SDGs are also other vectors of this project.
Finally, this scholarship granted by the European Union will allow us to start the internationalization of our school to teach global students.
