2020 STEM Discovery Campaign

The 2020 STEM Discovery Campaign is a joint international initiative organized by Scientix that invites projects, organisations, libraries, schools, universities and youth clubs across Europe and around the world, to celebrate careers and studies in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The tagline for this year’s campaign is “Innovative Trends in Education”. The main goal of the STEM Discovery Campaign, is to showcase the magnitude of the efforts teachers and other people interested in STEM education make during the academic year while using learning resources and engaging their students in educational activities promoting STEM.

Interested to become a partner?

By committing to the 2020 STEM Discovery Campaign, the partners agree to:

  • Organise and share information about activities and actions in STEM education as part of the STEM Discovery Campaign.
  • Encourage third parties to support and join the initiative by organising STEM activities or actions of their own and share information about them as part of the STEM Discovery Campaign.
  • Publish on their web page information in support of the STEM Discovery Campaign, hence facilitating an active exchange of information among projects, organisations and schools.

ELS ESPAIS DE JOC D’INFANTIL

Aquesta setmana hem canviat els espais de joc dels petits i els minis. Continuem amb els mateixos espais però amb propostes diferents.

  • A la taula de llum, trobem una proposta d’experimentació amb farina. Els infants poden jugar amb els contrasts de la llum i la farina, ja que quan esta sobre la taula no deixa passar la llum, els nens i nenes poden fer passar la llum amb els dits i així es treballa la psicomotricitat fina. A més a més, poden fer servir estris i utensilis per manipular la farina. Al seu abast tenen coladors, pots, pinces, culleres… per fer proves i jugar.

  • També continuem amb propostes d’experimentació, aquest trimestre poden jugar amb cacau en pols, cafè, sal grossa, sucre i gel. Aquesta proposta d’experimentació, a part de omplir i buidar pots, colar, barrejar, notar textures diferents… també ofereix una possibilitat d’estímul sensorial a través de les olors i els gustos.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Pel que fa a l’espai dels minimons aquest trimestre hem optat per dos propostes diferents. Per una banda, trobem un espai polar, on els infants poden jugar amb animals que viuen en zones fredes. A la base de la taula hi troben arròs congelat, i així els infants noten el fred. També hi ha uns blocs de suro amb els quals poden fer construccions varies, com per exemple iglús. Per altra banda, trobem un espai amb un castell medieval, el qual està rodejat de sorra i pedres. En aquest espai els infants tenen cavalls i persones que viuen al castell.
