Dear families,
Last week, the 6th graders have prepared a beautiful activity to share with I5 graders. They have explained a story in English, called The colour Monster. It has been really nice to share this time together and both groups have learnt a lot about it. The eldest students had to practice how to read aloud, improve pronunciation and use body gestures so as the littlest could understand better what they were reading. The little ones had to be very attentive to catch some words they already knew, related to the emotions, such as happy, sad, angry, calm…. After that, in pairs they have done two activities. The first one was a minibook, where they had to colour, cut and fold to create it. The second one was to fill up some glass jars with the colours related to each emotion.
Both groups have enjoyed a lot with this time and for sure, next school year we would like to repeat this amazing experience!
