THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR

Hi kids!

This week I will like to share with you a wonderful English native movie based on one of the best-selling children’s book.

For those who don’t know it, it tells the story of a tiny and very very hungry caterpillar who spends all week eating anything he pleases until he ends up having a terrible stomachache!

I’m sure that many of your children will know this book. If they do, it could be a good opportunity for them to tell you what is going on.

Click on the link below to find the animated version of this book, I invite you to find, listen to and repeat the following words: “apple”, “pears”, “plums”, “strawberries”, ”oranges”, “chocolate”, “ice-cream” and “lollipop”. You could review numbers as well.

When you have finished the video, I suggest you to make a caterpillar or a butterfly at home (painted, drawn, with different material …). I look forward to your amazing caterpillars and butterflies!

Per a aquells que no la coneixen, explica la història d’una eruga minúscula i afamada que es passa tota la setmana menjant tot el que li agrada fins que acaba amb un mal de panxa. Estic segur que molts dels vostres fills coneixeran aquest llibre. Si ho fan, podria ser una bona oportunitat per dir-vos què està passant mentre la veieu.
