ENGLISH DAY at la Valldan school! It was a total blast!
On the 4th of March we celebrated English Day and we had an enjoyable morning!
The common thread was the English Language which allowed us to enjoy games. After a short introduction about why we commemorate English Day, we traveled to six different English speaking countries: South Africa, Ireland, India, New Zealand, the United States (US) and the United Kingdom (UK). In each country we experienced different games such as a Breakout EDU, the Twister game, a Kahoot and a memory game. We also performed a stretching session and we learnt a traditional Irish dance!
The objective is for students to see the importance of knowing and learning foreign languages. We want to get our students involved at all levels of the teaching and learning process which makes them feel the protagonist of their own learning process!
Everything was great! It was an amazing day!
