As we talked with Marta about the strategies that advertisements use to convince us to buy something, we decided to look for advertisements in English to work on them. Carla proposes to do it individually and to make an oral presentation to show the advertisement and explain the strategies.
Before we start working individually, Carla asks us what we want to explain about the advertisement we choose. Together we agree on some questions and decide to make a script answering these questions before starting to put together the presentation.
Carla tells us that she will evaluate the presentation and suggests that we think about what aspects will be evaluated in order to take them into account when preparing the presentation. We agreed on a detailed explanation, good pronunciation, an adequate presentation without too much text or only with pictures, communication skills and the presentation and orthography of the script.
