Aniol has sent an email with the coordinates of the Font Fresca (42.187032724474975, 2.408184913709667) and explains that these numbers must be put on Google maps and we will know where the Font Fresca is. Investigating about coordinates we learn that there are many! That the first coordinate indicates the latitude, to go north or south, and the second the longitude, to go east or west. We use Google maps to invent coordinates and see where they take us.
To practice the coordinates we draw our own map and in pairs we ask what we can find in different coordinates (What can you see in coordinate A2?). We also practice using a map of Riudaura and asking in which coordinate a place is (Where is the school? The school is in coordinate B4).
