Miriama, a language assistant from Slovakia!

Hello! My name is Miriama, and I came here from the middle of the Europe, a beautiful country named Slovakia, from a small town called Liptovský Mikuláš.

Now something little about me. I am a huge mountain and adventure lover. This year I graduated at the University of Prešov from English language and anglophone cultures and my plans are to become a teacher of English one day. During the summer I usually work as an English summer camp leader, and in winter I sometimes work as a ski and snowboard instructor.

In this school I will work as a language assistant in all levels from P1 to the 6th grade.

First, I have to say that Spain took my heart last year, when I did my Erasmus+ at the University of Oviedo, however, I was forced to go back home due to the pandemic, but I knew that I have to return to Spain one day, and voilà, here I am 😊.

I am so grateful that I had an opportunity to come here to Lleida, to experience something new, to see how things work in other country, how are children in Spain. I just want to soak the Spanish atmosphere, learn something new, and come back home fulfilled with memories, irreplaceable knowledge, skills and experience. And also, I really hope that I will contribute to this school as well.
