The Newton disc

Continuing with the Matter Project, we’ve been working on the LIGHT. Thanks to the Newton disc, we’ve seen that a rotating disc with segments in different colors (usually Newton’s primary colours: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet)  appearing as white (or off-white or gray) when it spins very fast!

It’s been a fantastic discovery! We’ve enjoyed it so much!

English project: MATTER MATTERS!

Hello everybody!

Students of 6th grade are doing the project in English. It is called Matter Matters. We are learning about the three states of matter and the possible changes. We are making lots of experiments and having fun!

Here you have some pictures about how to make a bouncing egg and how to make a cloud!

Basketball in English is so much fun!

This 2nd term, fifth and sixth-grade students are learning how to play basketball while having fun. Besides, they are also improving their English skills by adding new vocabulary related to this sport, such as: bounce pass, chest pass, to dribble, to shoot…

You are all doing great!
