Tancament del curs STEAM a Oulu
El passat dissabte 8 de febrer, els i les nostres mestres del consorci van posar punt final al curs STEAM a Oulu amb una sessió de reflexió i posada en comú. Aquesta trobada, dinamitzada per les formadores del curs, ens va permetre compartir experiències, analitzar els aprenentatges adquirits i debatre sobre la seva aplicabilitat als diferents sistemes educatius dels nostres països d’origen.
Al llarg del curs, hem tingut l’oportunitat d’immergir-nos en un model pedagògic innovador que integra la Ciència, la Tecnologia, l’Enginyeria, les Arts i les Matemàtiques d’una manera transversal i experiencial. Les visites als diferents centres educatius de la xarxa STEAM d’Oulu ens han mostrat com aquest enfocament fomenta la col·laboració, la creativitat i el pensament crític entre l’alumnat, a través d’espais com els “Makerspaces” i metodologies actives que prioritzen l’aprenentatge pràctic.
Durant la sessió de tancament, vam posar en comú com podríem adaptar aquesta visió pedagògica als nostres contextos educatius. Vam reflexionar sobre les fortaleses d’aquest enfocament, però també sobre els possibles reptes que podríem trobar a l’hora d’implementar-lo a les nostres escoles. La necessitat de formació docent, els recursos materials i la flexibilitat curricular van ser alguns dels aspectes que es van posar sobre la taula com a factors clau per a una implementació amb èxit.
El més valuós d’aquesta experiència ha estat la transformació que hem viscut com a docents. Hem obert les nostres ments a noves metodologies i hem pogut experimentar de primera mà com l’STEAM pot esdevenir una eina poderosa per a l’aprenentatge significatiu. Ens emportem amb nosaltres no només nous coneixements, sinó també la inspiració per compartir-los amb els nostres claustres i altres escoles, contribuint així a una educació més innovadora i alineada amb les necessitats del segle XXI.
Reflection on the Last Session of the STEAM Course in Oulu
On Saturday, February 8, our consortium teachers concluded the STEAM course in Oulu with a reflection and sharing session. This meeting, led by the course trainers, allowed us to share experiences, analyze the knowledge acquired, and discuss its applicability in the different educational systems of our home countries.
Throughout the course, we have had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in an innovative pedagogical model that integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics in a transversal and experiential way. Visits to the different educational centers within the STEAM network in Oulu have shown us how this approach fosters collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking among students through spaces such as Makerspaces and active methodologies that prioritize hands-on learning.
During the closing session, we discussed how we could adapt this pedagogical vision to our own educational contexts. We reflected on the strengths of this approach but also on the possible challenges we might face when implementing it in our schools. The need for teacher training, material resources, and curricular flexibility were identified as key factors for a successful implementation.The most valuable aspect of this experience has been the transformation we have undergone as educators. We have opened our minds to new methodologies and have experienced firsthand how STEAM can become a powerful tool for meaningful learning. We take with us not only new knowledge but also the inspiration to share it with our colleagues and other schools, thus contributing to a more innovative education aligned with the needs of the 21st century.
