Our students in the second year of Performing arts High school had the chance of listening to and chatting with writer and teacher Xabier Coluig on Tuesday 28th November. Although he comes from Tortosa, he has been living in Dallas, Texas, for more than a decade, where he is still working as a teacher in an elementary school for hispanic students.
At the same time, he has published a few books related to important personalities and other matters related to the Ebro Lands, and has released several non-fictional documentaries as well.
Our students could engage in an interesting chat with him about their musical, dancing, acting and cinematographic interests. They could also tell him about their future academic prospects at university level.
Mr. Coluig congratulated them on their outstanding speaking level of English. Needless to say that we are very grateful to him for his kind visit, which the students have taken the most of.
