Som centre GEP!

El curs 2017-2018 el Departament d’Ensenyament inicia el programa d’innovació pedagògica Generació Plurilingüe (GEP). La finalitat d’aquest programa és millorar la competència en llengües estrangeres de l’alumnat, afavorint el seu creixement acadèmic i posterior inserció laboral, i capacitant-lo per interactuar amb el món en diverses llengües i de manera crítica.

Les accions del programa GEP s’orienten, d’una banda, a incrementar el temps d’exposició de l’alumnat a les llengües estrangeres curriculars i, d’una altra, a acompanyar els centres educatius en el procés de desplegament i consolidació d’un projecte lingüístic plurilingüe propi. També es promou un aprenentatge actiu i significatiu per part de l’alumnat, basat en el treball cooperatiu i per projectes que integrin les TIC, en una avaluació orientada a l’aprenentatge, i en l’adquisició d’estratègies per a un aprenentatge autònom.

GEP project | batucada workshop

The four classes from 1st of ESO at our school enjoyed an amusing and loud batucada workshop organized as part of the GEP project and in collaboration with the music department. During an hour, each member of its class learned the use of one of the different percussion instruments typical in Brazilian batucada, making for an excellent first contact with the world of percussion. They were instructed to follow simple but engaging rhythms, ensuring that everyone actively participates in the
workshop. The activity combined musical coordination with English language learning, as instructions were given in English. This workshop reinforced their communication in a foreign language in a real-world context, promoting social bonding and coordination among the different members of each class.

Orienteering activity at el Pont del Diable

Students from 3rd ESO participated in an exciting orienteering activity at El Pont del Diable in Tarragona, organized as part of the GEP project. Equipped with maps, they navigated through the natural surroundings, enhancing their teamwork and problem-solving skills. The activity combined physical exercise with language learning, as instructions and challenges were given in English. This hands-on experience not only improved their orientation abilities but also reinforced their communication in a real-world context .
