Last week our high school celebrated a fantastic English Day full of fun, culture and learning activities for all the students.
During the day, students enjoyed several special talks and workshops. Thor, representing Burlington Books, offered an interesting cultural talk called Villains in Literature, where students discovered some of the most famous villains in English literature and explored their stories and personalities.
Another engaging activity was Meet the Magic, organised by BSchool and led by Josh, which gave students the opportunity to experience English in a dynamic and motivating way.
Students from 1st and 2nd year of ESO also attended the English theatre play Emoji, a fun and entertaining performance that combined humour, emotions and everyday teenage situations.
In addition, students from 4th ESO and 1st Batxillerat became activity monitors and organised different games and activities in the classrooms for younger students. Their involvement and enthusiasm helped create a lively and collaborative atmosphere in class.
Students from 1st and 2nd ESO also took part in activities at Parc Viari together with local primary schools, enjoying outdoor games and opportunities to interact in English with younger pupils.
Finally, students from 1st Batxillerat participated in a Scottish dancing workshop led by Ruth from The Hub, where they learned traditional dances and discovered more about Scottish culture.
English Day was a great success and a wonderful opportunity for students to practise English in a fun, active and cultural environment.
