Quina gran rebuda!
Quin gran dia!
Our trip to Italy with the ERASMUS programme has begun! On Sunday, March 20, we left Barcelona at 9:30 a.m. from El Prat airport. The nerves ran through the veins, but the excitement was amazing!! We were travelling for 6 days to Italy for a cultural exchange! The flight was short, and for some students, it was the first time they were flying. We arrived in Milan, and they received us with a sign and the name of our school. We had a 4 hour drive by bus to reach our long-awaited destination: Lavarone, in the north of Italy. By 5 p.m., we arrived, and they were waiting for us. It was great to meet our Italian friends! We unpacked and quickly left outside alltogether to have dinner at a pizza restaurant. We could taste all kinds of pizzas, we had some drinks, and after we played for a while. What a nice welcome!
On Monday 21st we woke up and had a good breakfast. Fabrizio (the hotel owner) had everything ready: croissants, panettone, pandoro, biscuits, cereals…and red orange juice! Mmmmm, delicious!
We started the day at school with a very special reception, the welcome to the Palacio di Congressi with a dance to celebrate friendship, with the dance #SAYHI. The Italian students taught us the dance too and towards the stage to dance! Then we did knowledge activities, and a visit to the school. We had lunch at the canteen of the high school, risotto and “escalopinne”, and in the afternoon, we went out to the park to play with the snow and enjoy the frozen lake. At 4 p.m., families came to pick up their student. Our students spent the afternoon and evening with them. Some walked around the town, others played games at home, some went out to a restaurant…they had a great time and the families were wonderful! At night, we all came back to the hotel, made phone calls home, and went to bed. What a great day!!
