2nd of ESO STEM students have constructed Lego WeDo robots. They have worked cooperatively through 4 phases: exploring, creating, testing and sharing.
The robots were chosen to solve a problem:
• “Sort to Recycleâ€robot, to solve the problem “How can you improve recycling methods to reduce waste?â€
• “Speed†robot, to solve the problem “How can a car go faster?â€
Once the robots were built, student tested them and then they improved the design. Finally, students shared their findings describing their different prototypes to their classmates.
