- Els nois i les noies de 3r d’ESO es proposen nous reptes en la matèria d’STEAM.
El projecte “Les rajoles de Barcelona”, realitzat per l’alumnat de 3r d’ESO al llarg del segon trimestre, els ha permès conèixer els diferents tipus de rajoles, els seus usos i la seva història. Per a aquesta finalitat, han analitzat el disseny i la fabricació de les rajoles hidràuliques i dels panots, amb les quals, a través de les matemàtiques, han estudiat els girs i diedrals.
Arran d’aquesta temàtica, hem proposat als nois i les noies el repte de trobar formes de cobrir un pla amb diferents figures geomètriques, és a dir, fer mosaics i plantejar la seva composició amb figures regulars i irregulars. Primer, han temptejat amb quines figures geomètriques regulars, com triangles, quadrats, pentàgons o hexàgons, podien emplenar el pla i, més endavant, ho han dut a terme amb figures irregulars, on han creat les seves pròpies tessel·lacions a partir d’exemples d’artistes com Escher.
English: The “Barcelona tiles” project that the students have have been developing along the second term has led them to study the different types of tiles, Its uses and Its history. For this purpose, they have studied the design and manufacture of hydraulic tiles and “panots”, and through mathematics, they have studied twists and dihedrals.
As a result of this study, we have proposed them the challenge of finding ways to cover a surface with different geometric figures, in other words, to make mosaics, and they have studied its composition with regular and irregular figures. First, they tried which regular geometric figures, such as triangles, squares, pentagons or hexagons, can fill the plane, and then they have done it with irregular figures, where they created their own tessellations based on examples of artists like Escher.
A continuació, podeu veure algunes de les propostes de tessel·lacions. A més, alguns dissenys s’han exportat a Sketch up per imprimir-los en 3D, i fer-ne un joc per als infants de Primària de l’IE Els Tres Pins.
