This last term, during their English classes and with the help of Helena, our speaking assistant, the students from 3rd and 4th grade have been preparing an English play: an adaptation of Alice in Wonderland.

The students worked hard to learn their lines, design their costumes, and rehearse their parts. The play also included two songs: Flowers by Miley Cyrus, performed by the flowers when Alice meets them, and Wonderland by Taylor Swift, inspired by the original story, which the whole cast sang together at the end.

On Thursday, June 19th, the students performed the play in front of some of their families — and they did a fantastic job! The performance was also recorded so that those who couldn’t attend will still be able to enjoy it.
