Flipped Classroom – ERASMUS+
A 1 Week ERASMUS+ Teacher Training Course within the framework of the ERASMUS+ Program
In this course, participants will understand the idea behind flipped classrooms and how it can be integrated into their own classroom curriculum. The flipped classroom has been defined as a pedagogical model in which the typical lecture and homework elements of a course are reversed. Short video lectures are viewed by students at home before the class session, while in-class time is devoted to hands on exercises, projects, or discussions.
Flipped (upside down) classrooms focus on active learning and student engagement giving the instructor a better opportunity to deal with mixed levels, student difficulties, and differentiated learning styles during in class time.
By the end of this course, participants will have a full understanding of this new method and be able to confidently implement a “Flipped Classroom” lesson.
Project Based Learning in the Classroom: Setup, Integration and Reflection – ERASMUS+ CLA.1.PBL

A 1 Week ERASMUS+ Teacher Training Course about Project Based Learning (PBL)
This course has been created for educators who want to learn more about Project Based Learning (PBL) and how they can integrate this topic into their lessons and school curriculum using the latest techniques and classroom tools. PBL offers students an opportunity to be more engaged in the lessons and provides students with a deeper understanding of the topic through simultaneous exposure to a variety of learning methods.
In this engaging and hands-on course, participants will gain an understanding of what Project Based Learning is, which tools are best for integrating PBL in to your lessons, how to monitor and assess students using PBL and reflect on how educators can integrate PBL into their own teaching practices.
By the end of this course, students will have gained greater insight into PBL projects for the classroom and how to integrate PBL into their lessons. They will become more confident in their own teaching and assessments and will take away ideas on how to integrate PBL into their classroom and school curriculum.
Guided city tours and excursions will also be part of the programme.
By the end of the courses, students will have gained greater insight into what makes a classroom run smoothly and what it takes to “Flip” their own classrooms. They will also become more familiar with Project and Task Based Learning and take away ideas for evaluating student learning and participation effectively.
