El programa Generació Plurilíngüe (GEP) promou, d’una banda, l’increment del temps d’exposició de l’alumnat a les llengües estrangeres curriculars i, d’una altra, acompanya els centres educatius en el procés de desplegament i consolidació d’un projecte lingüístic plurilingüe propi. La durada del programa per als centres que hi participen és de tres cursos escolars.

GEP – ART THROUGH TIME VIRTUAL MUSEUM

We have finished our GEP project for this year, called “Art Through Time.” In this project, students learned how art has changed over many years. We started with cave paintings from prehistoric times. Then, we learned about art from different time periods, such as ancient Egypt, ancient Greece, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, Impressionism and more.

In each part of the project, students made their own art. They used different styles and techniques and learned about some characteristics and culture from each time period. This project helped students understand history in a fun way. They used their hands and their creativity to make many types of artwork.

Our European Classroom

Aquest curs, l’alumnat de 4t i 5è ha participat en el projecte eTwinning “Our European Classroom”, una iniciativa que ens ha permès connectar amb escoles d’altres països d’Europa i fer servir l’anglès com a llengua de comunicació real i significativa. Durant el projecte hem compartit experiències amb alumnes de Finlàndia, Grècia, Portugal, Turquia, Croàcia i Noruega. Hem tingut l’oportunitat de conèixer-nos a través de videoconferències, xats, jocs en línia i esdeveniments especials, a més de preparar presentacions per explicar com som, com és la nostra escola i quines tradicions tenim.

In CS Art class, we continued building our Art History timeline. During the second term, we explored the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the Baroque and Impressionism periods. Along the way, we learned about the main characteristics of each period and a little bit of important artists like Leonardo da Vinci and Claude Monet.

Avui a l’escola tots els nens i nenes han pogut gaudir d’un espectacle de teatre en anglès gràcies al projecte GEP (Grup d’Experimentació per al Plurilingüisme). L’alumnat d’Educació Infantil i Cicle Inicial han vist l’obra de Runaway Pancake. Han rigut, han cantat i, sense adonar-se’n, han estat immersos en l’anglès durant tota l’estona! Cicle Mitjà i Superior s’han endinsat en The Big Bang, una obra amb un toc científic que, a través del teatre, els ha apropat a conceptes sobre l’origen de l’univers i el sistema solar.

GEP Activities in art class

In art class, we’ve been creating a timeline of art through history! So far, we’ve explored Prehistoric art, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, and Ancient Rome, doing fun activities for each period. Along the way, we also made a special Halloween craft. Now, we’re getting into the holiday spirit with a Christmas craft!

Enguany hem continuat amb el segon any del programa GEP, en el qual hem treballat a partir de PBL (Project Based Learning). Hem aprofitat el “Projecte pati” que s’està duent a terme a l’escola i l’hem relacionat amb el projecte GEP. L’alumnat de cicle superior ha tingut l’oportunitat de pensar, dissenyar i crear jocs de pati. Ha estat un treball llarg però hem gaudit molt!

Look at the amazing things we have done during these months!

In November we designed the train in the playground in a paper. We voted for our favourite designs and we painted the best one.

 

In October we made Halloween candles in 5th and 6th grade using a jar. In 3rd and 4th grade we made funny bookmarks.

Bats, monsters, cats, pumpkins and ghosts…spooky!

 

ACTIVITATS GEP

Durant el curs el grup impulsor del GEP hem participat al programa GEP 1. Els objectius del programa són els següents:

  1. Apropar-nos a les característiques principals de l’enfocament CLIL,
  2. desenvolupar les nostres habilitats CLIL com a docents,
  3. dissenyar i implementar tasques CLIL a l’aula,
  4. promoure la millora de la competència docent a partir de l’auto-observació i auto-avaluació.

A continuació us presentem les tasques que ha fet l’alumnat durant el curs i que vàrem presentar a la trobada del programa GEP 1 que es va fer a Valls.
