Now that we know the name of the different rooms we have in our house, we think about other types of houses and the rooms it could be in there. We think about whether the school is a house and we think not, but it does have rooms and we decide to count all the rooms that the school has.
We go around the school writing down the different rooms, but with the list it’s a little bit confusing and we think it would be better to have a map. We print a map of the school and paint the different rooms with different colours.
There are some rooms we don’t know and we have to investigate its name: asking at home, looking it up in the dictionary, asking other schoolmates or teachers…
