We watch the movie “The boy who harnessed the wind”, a film that tells the true story of William Kamkwamba, a boy who created a windmill to get water for his village, Malawi. Once we see it, we summarize it together and focus on the type of energy that the child in the film uses (wind energy) to get water. We decide we want to build a windmill. After doing the groups we brainstorm about what process we need to follow to build the windmill: draft, list of materials and construction. We get in groups and start working!
