Olaia has brought an old newspaper and we do a reading comprehension of an advertisement written in English that appears in it. We try to find out what this ad may be telling us by brainstorming orally and then individually and in writing. Once we know what the ad is telling us, we realize it has rhyme.
We think it’s a rhyming saying in English and for homework everyone will be looking for one at home. We also invent one in class in groups!
Reading the rhyming sayings, we find out that in English there are also tongue twisters, which are word games that play with the difficulty of pronouncing certain words and we learn by heart some of them.
