Since our square metre is made of rocks, we watch a video about an artist (Michael Grab) making rock sculptures: Amazing Man Who Reads Gravity – Mind Blowing Stone Balancer

After watching the video we think about how the artist does to make these sculptures and we decide to go and try it ourselves in the “Font Fresca”, because it is a place where there are rocks and where there is water to wet them.
Looking at the pictures of our rock sculptures we also want to make a rock sculpture on paper. We first make a sketch to get an idea of what our sculpture will look like and take pictures of the rocks we have on our square meter. Then we create our sculpture by cutting and pasting the photographs of the rocks. Once finished, everyone explains them to the rest of the class.
