On January 30, the International School Day of Non-Violence and Peace is celebrated, on the anniversary of death of Mahatma Gandhi. Galileo Galilei school join in in one way or another to the School Day for Peace and Non- Violence with different activities and actions. A cloud cut out of piece of paper with words for peace, a word search or a mandala for peace… No great things are needed to celebrate the School day of Non-Violence and Peace but we do need to take time to reflect on the importance of peace.
Now, we can take time to reflect on the words for peace that our students propose: Friendship, smile, help others, love, family and sharing.
