Hiya!
I am very glad to have a chance to give a self-introduction here. My name is Kiwan. I am a senior student who is studying translation and history at Cardiff University. In year three I am spending one semester in a Spanish speaking country and one in Japan, immersed in the languages. Before I decided to move to Lleida working as an English assistant at Enric Farreny, I was taking very long to make a final decision about the year abroad. No matter what I chose, I believe that the year abroad is a great opportunity for me to immerse myself in another culture, and gain international study and work experience.
I still cannot believe that I have been living here in Lleida for nearly 2 months. Relocating to a new place is a physically and emotionally stressful time. To be honest, from the beginning it was not easy for me to get through all the challenges that I never expected. Fortunately, my colleagues are all nice people who always being my support and my strength so that I do not feel lost and alone anymore. I am glad to have them here and wanted to say “Thank you” to all of them here just let them know that they mean a lot to me. On the other hand, I do really love working at Enric Farreny and I just found out myself have a personal interest and passion for helping young kids. Also, I love being around children what makes me forget all the stresses and worries.
