Hello everyone!
My name is Maria and I come from Greece, more specifically from Lemnos. It is a small island but with big significance in greek history because of its geographical place, connecting the black sea with the aegean sea.
I was born in Deutschland and my mum is from Australia. Since I was little, I loved exchanging cultures with people. I find it fascinating, how similar and also how different we can be from each other. I have been traveling since I was a 3 month old and love every trip I take.
Now, I’ve come to Lleida and I’m so thankful that I have been given this opportunity to explore this city, and other places in Spain.
Traveling is not the only thing that I’m interested in but teaching as well. Since I remember myself, I loved passing information on and now I’ve got the chance to teach children the subject that I really enjoy, mathematics. Maths has always intrigued me because everything around us has happened because of it and nothing can work without it. Great greek mathematicians have inspired me to pursue this field of job and I hope one day to be a great mathematician/ teacher as they were.
