Durant els darrers mesos, els nens i nenes d’I4 hem treballat en un projecte “Com és la vida a Kènia. Tot va començar quan vam rebre una videotrucada dels nens i nenes de l’escola d’Ukunda a Kènia: ens van ensenyar la seva escola i vam cantar una cançó junts. La seva escola era molt diferent de la nostra: no tenien font al pati, no tenien lavabo ni joguines, entre d’altres. Després, ens van arribar unes imatges de com és la vida allà, que diferent tot! Vam anar pel nostre barri i l’escola per fer fotografies del nostre entorn i poder veure les diferències amb la vida allà. Tanmateix, ens van ensenyar una cançó en Suahili i ells van cantar una en castellà, podeu veure les nostres produccions en el vídeo que us compartim. Finalment, hem compartit el nostre projecte amb les altres classes de l’escola i hem reflexionat tots junts.
Volem agrair la col•laboració de les nenes i els nens i la mestra Eve de l’escola d’Ukunda i al Simon, el coordinador de la ONG “Volunteer action for change Ke”, sense la seva col•laboració aquest projecte no hauria estat possible.

During the last months, the boys and girls of I4 have worked on a project “How is life in Kenya. It all started when we received a video call from the boys and girls of the Ukunda school in Kenya: they showed us their school and we sang a song together. Their school was very different from ours: they didn’t have a fountain in the yard, they didn’t have toilets or toys, among other things. Afterwards, we received some images of what life is like there, how different everything is! We went around our neighborhood and school to take pictures of our surroundings and see the differences with life there. However, they taught us a song in Swahili and they sang one in Spanish, you can see our productions in the video that we share with you. Finally, we shared our project with the other classes of the school and we all reflected together.
