Dijous 17 d’octubre, l’alumnat de 2n d’ESO ha anat a Sant Sadurní per tal de visitar l’Espai Simon i Coll, i l’Espai Cava. En aquesta sortida hem descobert d’on s’obté la xocolata, i com es processa. Hem pogut veure part del procés de fabricació i hem pogut degustar tres tipus de xocolata. En l’Espai Cava hem pogut descobrir a través d’una exposició i de vídeos curts diferents aspectes del procés de fabricació del cava, resolent les preguntes que es plantejaven. Per últim, també hem fet una gimcana pel centre descobrint els edificis modernistes més emblemàtics. Totes aquestes visites s’han fet en la llengua anglesa.

On Thursday 17th October, students from 2nd of ESO went to Sant Sadurní to visit Espai Simon i Coll, and Espai Cava. In this trip students discovered where chocolate is obtained, as well as how it is processed. We saw part of the processing process in the factory, as well as we tried three types of chocolate. In Espai Cava we discovered through the exhibition and short videos different aspects of the sparkling wine (also known as “cava”) process, solving some of the questions that they gave us. Lastly, we have also done a scavenger hunt in the city center to discover some of the most emblematic modernist buildings. All these visits were carried out in the English language.
