Els alumnes de 2n ESO han començat ja ha treballat el projecte d’enguany de Global Scholar: THE WATER.
Us recordem que es tracta d’un projecte internacional de l’organització americana Global Scholars que inclou escoles i instituts de tot el món. La idea principal és treballar durant tot l’any un tema d’interès cultural-social i que els alumnes facin estudi i recerca d’informació per després intercanviar en anglès els resultats i conclusions.
El primer projecte d’aquest any ha estat una auditoria dels punts d’aigua de l’escola per veure si estan en bones condicions i si els usuaris fan un bon ús d’elles.
El resultat ha estat uns pòsters que tenim penjats al passadís de l’escola, i unes presentacions de les quals podeu veure una mostra aquí.

We are very happy to do these activities and be part as ambassadors to Global Scholars because it is very creative, we work in a cooperative way with our teammates, we learn English and talk with students from around the world.
This project was to realize the amount of water we waste and what we can do to improve this and not waste too much.

I am Camilo and I am an embasador of the Global Scholars project, and international project where the theme is water. I participated in the audit and I took the photos and did the poster with the help of my great friend Izan
To be a Global Scholars implies taking responsibility for the tasks of the class.
Being a ambassador is interesting because we meet new people from other countries and with other cultures and perspectives.
The project we did was very entertaining, we learned how to improve so as not to waste so much water and we learned from other communities (students) from other countries.

Our experience with the Global Scholars is that it is very entertaining to do the work because we do it in a team and we do fun things like PowerPoints, videos … We’ve had a great time and we have learned many things from other cultures thanks to others children of Global Scholars. At the moment the activities that we have done make me think that they are very creative and that make us learn more.
Global schoolars es una empresa de America que se dedica a juntar varios institutos para que se conozcan las culturas haciendo actividades y trabajos en grupo.
También hemos hecho algunos trabajos bastantes interesantes para saber tu consumo del agua o lo importante que es en tu dia a dia, también buscar información de fiestas típicas relacionades con el agua y demás.
At global schoolars we do projects and we search for information about water, how we use it and water in other cultures or countries.
The other day we audited the water points of our institute. A partner and I made the writings of our group’s project. It was entertaining to do this project, since we are very happy with the result, although it did not go very well.
